The forecast for the next 24 hours is for temperatures to increase which, together with the hard work of our site team, will help to clear the snow and ice from the school site. Therefore, Notton House Academy will be open today (Monday 4^th February).

It is likely that there will be some snow and ice patches remaining. Therefore, please ask your child to take care travelling to school and as they move around the site. Given the conditions, pupils may wear boots or walking shoes with a good grip. Please ask your child to:

• stick to the cleared footpaths on the school site and walk carefully 
• wear warm clothing if going outside
•  refrain from picking up and/or throwing snow and ice
